| Well yesterday the repair guy came to look at our tv, its what i figured ...light engine...he hauled it away in his van, i shed a tear and now me and lusty are stuck with one tv! the horror, we can still play on my xbox but i guess we will have to fight over who gets to play. | yeah my advise, dont buy JVC , it's crap. i mean its great while it works but then it breaks. Thats 3 out of three now.
1st tv, bad light engine (no warranty..very expensive...still bad)
2nd home theater amp, crapped out but had extended warranty..thjey couldnt fix it so now i have a yamaha reciever
3rd, 2nd tv jvc again (like the picture) on ly 9 months old, already getting fixed..i bought 4 years of warranty this time. | |

| yeah, i should have waited a bit and could have got me a plasma. at the time i went with Jvc rear projection becouse their lcos (liquid crystal on silicon) tv's produced a stellar 1080p picture and were a lot cheaper. In the last 9 months prices have plummeted on plasmas, i could pic up a 42" 1080p plasma for half the price now | |
