I've been looking around at a couple people's signatures and seeing this strangely elaborate backgrounds with just a simple picture placed on top. So here is my question, do you create your own backgrounds (like I do) or do you find them on the internet and just put pictures on them and type in some cool fonts?

Be more specific. point out some particular sigs you are wondering about. I make almost all of my backgrounds

Well with a developed gfx team i think we are going to require you to be a gfx artist before you can use the logo

Pfft, I was just going to make a sig for me, but what ever. I'm going to make a comic strip thread using a few finished frames of something I made in GIMP. Should I put that in this forum?
