The outline on the second one is sort of out of place you might be better off with a drop shadow rather than the effect you have on it also bring down the spartan size just a tad bit well at least make it skinner. Other than that your on your way to being a decent photoshopper and im on my way to being a good paperboy for you lolz weilda...

when you have your character highlighted... try holding shift while moving the corner square of the "freee transformed" character. this will help with the proportion of the character stay the same. that's my advice for now. I like the background of the first sig!

This one is good but you should have incorperate more, like Ray would say, this one would look good with a border

also the StickyGlue one, it looks likeyou didn't get all of the background around the glue erased

yah I have to work on my sizing and the plauge one I think you picked cuz I used a Hell load of brushes and layers but the darkside one I like it but it just didnt have that much work put into it lol.
