| i downloaded some fonts from the site imapyro gave me , but i went to add text in gimp but it didnt allow me because they werent in there | |

| Ok, This is what you do.
1. Go into the zipped folder for the font 2. Go to start, my computer, local disk C, Windows. DON'T GO INTO THE FONT FOLDER! 3. Drag the file from the zipped folder into Windows, but you can't put it in Fonts directly. 4. Once you do that just drag the file into the fonts folder until it says installed. 5. Restart GIMP
If the font doesn't show up in GIMP it isn't the the right type of file. So, just go into paint for putting in Text, but most fonts from the site I gave you are compatible with GIMP. | |
